At Akaki Tsereteli State University, Faculty of Medicine on December 25th, the annual VI Scientific Conference of Students "Achievements of XXI Century Medicine" was held. Georgian and foreign students presented interesting reports in the theoretical medicine and pharmacy sessions and answered the questions, such discussions facilitate the development of scientific-research skills among students.

On November 16-17, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University hosted an International Students and Young Scientists Conference "Chemistry Today and Future", which was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the university. Co-organizers: Georgian Technical University, Tbilisi State Medical University, Akaki Tsereteli State University and Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.

On December 5, Akaki Tsereteli State University Graduates Network hosted the Swedish Graduates Network in Georgia, where students and graduates received information about Study, Exchange and Internship Programs financed by the Swedish Institute of SI and the Swedish Embassy. Participants were also informed about the application process, scholarships and the advantages of learning in Sweden.

At 5:00 pm on December 5th at 13:00 at 1114 Auditorium of Akaki Tsereteli State University, ATSU Graduates Network will host the Swedish Graduates Network in Georgia, where students and graduates will get information about Study, Exchange and Internship Programs financed by the Swedish Institute of SI and the Swedish Embassy.
Participants will be able to get information on the application process, scholarships and the advantages of learning in Sweden.

On December 8, 2018, Professor Gintaras Deanafas, professor of Kaunas Technological University (Lithuania) will deliver a public lecture on "Proficiency Management and Development in Lithuania: Experience and Challenges" at the Department of Chemical and Environmental Technologies of Akaki Tsereteli State University.

Within the jubilee days, various events were held. Professor Imeri Basiladze delivered a public lecture on "The Temple of Education - Atsu-85". The scientific library awarded the most active students and organized an exhibition of the new collection of unique books.
Public lecture "Georgian Foreign Policy and Its Priorities" was held by Levan Mikeladze Diplomatic Training and Research Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.
