The Research Supporting and Development Center

The Research Supporting and Development Center aims to encourage the highest quality research activities of the academic staff, as well as students. The Center supports the academic staff to identify new opportunities and directions in any field of research, get new grants, publishing scientific articles and allows students and Doctorates to develop their research activities, also studies the research potential of the University and prepares periodic reports.

On October 26-27, 2019, the conference "Analysis and Related Issues" will be held at Akaki Tsereteli State University. The conference is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of ATSU Professor Gigla Oniani (1949-2013).

Conference is held within project “Adaptation of Disabled People to Logistics System of Passenger Transport” implementing under financial support of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation


On September 19, 11:40, within the framework of Estonia - Georgia - UNICEF Partnership, Ambassador of Estonia - Kai Kaarelson and the head of UNICEF - Ghassan Khalili will visit Akaki Tsereteli State University Faculty of Pedagogy.

On September 6, 2019, on the initiative of the Student Career Support Service Akaki Tsereteli State University students and graduates participated in the Employment Forum.

Within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between Akaki Tsereteli State University and Recep Tayyip Erdogan University it is already the second year that summer clinical practice of ATSU medical students has been implemented, this clinical course was scheduled for this year from 18 August to 6 September.

National Center for Disease Control and Public Health and House of Justice launch joint project in October 2018, Public Service Hall has allocated a space where disease control staff are regularly implementing screening for hepatitis C. The students of ATSU Medicine Faculty are actively involved in the implementation of the state program of C hepatitis elimination. They are involved in both the attracting beneficiaries and screening process, the most active students were selected by National Center for Disease Control for their internship courses, after which they were awarded with diplomas.
