On April 15-16, 2021 a meeting within the frames of Erasmus+ CBHE project Curriculum Innovation for Social Inclusion (CISI) took place at Akaki Tsereteli Kutaisi State University in Kutaisi, Georgia.
New courses developed at ATSU were presented and discussed with the CISI project HEIs representatives and CISI partner ATSU administrative and academic staff. During the meeting with the representatives of public schools and Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) focus was made on cooperation of schools, universities and non-governmental organisations, on social inclusion of pupils with disabilities at schools through the enhancement of inclusive education quality. The foreseen activities were planned and needs of the institutions – direct and indirect beneficiaries were discussed.
The main goal of the project is to promote the social inclusion of persons with disabilities in Georgia by improving the quality of inclusive education in local schools.
